    Love this magnetic car mount. Although I do wish the magnet was a little stronger, it has not dropped my phone. I heard a little birdie say there were stronger magnets coming. Hope that's true. Definitely like this and the glue is holding extremely well. I can't budge it. Thanks

    Love the carmount and would have given it 5 stars except that it has a flat mount base. It would be nice if it had additional curved attachments like Go pro. It limited where I could mount it seeing how the ideal spot was curved in the consol. Other than that it's awesome.

    I will say that receiving the product took longer than I expected. I do realize we are in a "COVID" time but several other products that I ordered at the same time arrived within 7 days of ordering, whereas CarMount took quite a bit longer.

    So, here is the real deal on this. The mount sticks great to the car dashboard and is sleek. The magnet is not strong enough for the metal plate to be in a standard iPhone Speck case, the magnet would need to be mounted on the outside of the case. Speck cases have tiny ridges on the back and the case is made of silicone. The adhesive on the metal plate will not stick to it. I used a silicone based adhesive to adhere the metal plate to the back of my case, this worked great. Performance of the system was excellent once I did this and I have zero complaints and love having the phone in a great view location in a vehicle that has very little dashboard space to mount to. This would be 5 stars if I didn't need to do the workaround I did. Worth the money even with the extra effort.
