My carmount looks nice and sleek. Unfortunately the magnet is not strong enough to hold my phone when my thin protective case is on the phone. It slides off the mount when I go around a corner. I feel like it is more important to protect my phone from dropping it than to mount it while driving and to remove the case while on long drives is an option, I will mount the second strip on the outside of the case and see if it works better.

This is a great phone mount which I would have given a 5 star, but one thing I read before I purchased and what made me buy this is that you can use a wireless charger even with the metal plate stuck to the back of your phone. That is NOT the case with an IPhone 12. You have to put the metal plate at the bottom of the phone so the wireless charger is able to charge your phone, but when you do that the mount does not work as stated. If you have to touch the screen on the top half of your phone while it is on the mount the phone will fall off very easily. So if you use a wireless charger, this is not the mount for you unless you attach the metal plate to the inside of your case and take your case off every time to charge.

The magnet itself is strong. The plate for the back of the phone however is not so strong. Once they waiver and or bend, it’s hard to get them to stay on the phone. The adhesive isn’t strong enough.

It is a well made product, but it wont fit anywhere on my BMW Z4 dash. Another internet purchase disappointment.

Too soon to really rate seems to work well upon my Jeep the Dodge truck had issues with sticking, this issue maybe resolved by cleaning the pad, we will see. Does hold the phone and is very compact. Will try in the other vehicles and see how it works.

Device works well, the magnet metal had to be placed on the outside of the phone cover. On the inside, it wouldn't hold to the holder.

Mount and magnet are nice. I had to buy a new case as it didnt work with my rugged one. I had to go with a thinner case and that magnet grabs good. So...More
Mount and magnet are nice. I had to buy a new case as it didnt work with my rugged one. I had to go with a thinner case and that magnet grabs good. So if you have a case thats a half inch or more thicker beware of it not working the best.

The magnet is not strong enough to hold the phone to the mount when the plate is inside the phone case. I had to put the plate on the outside of my phone case in order for the phone to securely attach to the mount. It now affects my wireless charging capabilities.

But the metal plate for the phone didn’t even when I cleaned my phone for the metal sticker. 👎🏻 Every time I grab my phone from the magnet holder the sticker releases from the phone.
